Overview
On 12 June, at its US headquarters in New Jersey, Asco (Emerson Group) announced with great fanfare the launch of its new 653 Series for industrial air treatment. Available in connection sizes of 1/2", 3/4" and 1", the 653 Series offers a high flow rate for its size. This enables users to operate multiple machines from a single Filter-Regulator-Lubricator (FRL unit) whilst also reducing pressure losses within the system. All whilst helping them to save energy and reduce their running costs.
The complete range includes filters, regulators, filter-regulator units, FRL units, lubricators, isolation valves, bypass modules, shut-off valves and soft starters.
According to Scott Weickel, Vice-President of Engineering for Machine Automation at Emerson, “The launch of the 653 Series significantly expands our global offering in high-flow air treatment.
The addition of new connection sizes enables international manufacturers to select a comprehensive range of state-of-the-art air treatment products, ranging from 1/8" to 1", all from a single supplier. This simplifies product selection and purchasing.”
